The volcanic creation of these magical islands of Hawaii give us many fascinating things to look at. Pu'u Ola'i cinder cone at Oneuli (dark sands) beach deposited lava that got pounded into sand. Lava can be black and sometimes red. Looking up the side of the cinder cone is a winding trail of reddish dirt and gravel that cuts through the diagonal black lava ridges and lands in a pile on the beach.
Loved Maui since the first time here and now it's home. Been convincing people to experience the magic here for years. This place makes you feel so alive and in awe of the beauty. You can look at the same places everyday and see something new. Also you run into interesting people and share good stories and times unexpectedly. This is something that needs to be shared, so here we are! It won't document everything, but things where getting a photo or having the time to write it down is possible will be posted here. Aloha and Mahalo from Maui.
