There was rain in Wailea and sun in Kihei, so a great time to venture south late day. On the way back from an enjoyable rainy beach walk - it doesn't rain often, so it's a treat to experience and watch it rain on the ocean or other islands - I decided to stop off at Keawakapu for sunset. A mix of clouds always makes for stunning colors and effects. This one is a new favorite with its fiery, stormy, contrasts in the sky and on the water.
Loved Maui since the first time here and now it's home. Been convincing people to experience the magic here for years. This place makes you feel so alive and in awe of the beauty. You can look at the same places everyday and see something new. Also you run into interesting people and share good stories and times unexpectedly. This is something that needs to be shared, so here we are! It won't document everything, but things where getting a photo or having the time to write it down is possible will be posted here. Aloha and Mahalo from Maui.
