sAloha Friday is a great time to watch a Maui sunset. Well anytime is, but this day the magic was beyond the sunset to the right. A colorful blend of red, orange and yellow appeared in the streaked and dotted clouds behind silhouettes of palms and kiawe trees.
A great thing about living in what is an endless summer to most people is the opportunity to swim in the ocean anytime. On this particular day it was warm, humid and light rain, so a stop at a usually crowded beach to swim sounded great. While floating and relaxing the sun popped through the clouds creating a spectacular lighting effect on the west Maui mountains. One of those moments worth sharing. Walking back with camera the view through the tropical plants became the perfect picture.
Loved Maui since the first time here and now it's home. Been convincing people to experience the magic here for years. This place makes you feel so alive and in awe of the beauty. You can look at the same places everyday and see something new. Also you run into interesting people and share good stories and times unexpectedly. This is something that needs to be shared, so here we are! It won't document everything, but things where getting a photo or having the time to write it down is possible will be posted here. Aloha and Mahalo from Maui.
