A blue sunset not sad, but more of a monochromatic. A cloudy afternoon, so many people skipped this one figuring it to be a dud. But wait Maui brings the magic! Not only the view, but also the way this post almost magically wrote itself as I walked home.
I am always striving to accomplish things. Tasks, goals, chores, personal milestones. Somedays more than others. Always more that can be done. Maybe what's supposed to be accomplished should be just breathing the sweet salty tropical air, taking in all the magical scenery, warming my heart with the Aloha and nurturing my soul with the wonders of experiencing Maui.
Valentines day, a day to celebrate love. Love this magical island of Maui . It shows love back with so many great experiences for your senses. Valentines day was windy stormy and couldn't bring myself to just head home, so went to this cool little landing. Maui rewarded with this lovely sunset at a place where waves almost never happen.
The constant movement of the clouds and various angles of the sun are quite playful if you stop to notice. Many tricks of the light. Many have been seen and many more will come. One of the many reasons being on Maui is such a delight, morning or night.
Every picture tells a story or maybe a picture is worth a thousand words. One from the south and one from the west. Some may want to figure or claim which one is the best. Maybe the real point is to revel in the last moments of the days beauty before it's time to rest...
The clouds descend making the mountains misty and green. Amazing to watch as this natural caress of the skies brings the water of life to the west Maui mountains. The many peaks and valleys green up in delight. Some brighter, some deeper, so many shades of green, All part of the natural wonder of Maui's magical design. Yes the grass is always greener in Maui
Loved Maui since the first time here and now it's home. Been convincing people to experience the magic here for years. This place makes you feel so alive and in awe of the beauty. You can look at the same places everyday and see something new. Also you run into interesting people and share good stories and times unexpectedly. This is something that needs to be shared, so here we are! It won't document everything, but things where getting a photo or having the time to write it down is possible will be posted here. Aloha and Mahalo from Maui.
